01.10.2008 KanZaman becomes major part of Icewhole.com's move into Europe Icewhole.com , one of the fastest growing film websites in the UK, is delighted to announce the start of their move into Europe with Spain as one of their first major territories. The first European Monthly Short Film Awards will begin in October, with Spanish Short Films being eligible for the first awards. 
The closing date for its first month submissions is 31st October 2008, and will be the last day of each month thereafter.The short films will be judged each month, by members from the Icewhole.com panel of some 230+ leading film makers (Producers, Directors, Casting Directors, Talent Agents, Writers, Actors and Academy Award Winners) from Spain and around the world, including Morgan Freeman, Richard Attenborough, Max Von Sydow, Ben Kingsley, and Alan Rickman – who are all seeking to help ethically promote and support new talent! Every film uploaded to Icewhole.com are eligible for an annual $10,000 prize for the Best Film, and the Best Director, Writer and Actor will be given professional representation by leading European Talent Agents. These awards are in addition to the Quarterly Technical Awards already being offered by partners, including Kodak and The Pinewood & Shepperton Studio Group, for technical excellence in film making. As of this month Icewhole.com has more than 1000 short film and music videos on its website. Apart from films, Icewhole.com has a fantastic networking facility which enables it’s thousands of members to find other film and mu sic talent from Writers, Composers, Actors, to technical crew such as Make Up Artists and Cinematographers. Excitingly, members can not only communicate with other new talent, but also watch some of the projects those members have been involved in – an online showcase for budding Directors, Actors, Composers and Musicians.
